Tellurex thermoelectric designs and components single-handedly created a growth industry in portable Peltier Effect plug-in coolers and food warmers. Today, thanks to our new materials, engineering skills, lower prices, and volume capacities, there are fresh opportunities to develop a range of new thermoelectric products for consumer home, office and recreation use.

Today, Tellurex thermoelectric technology can support field re-charging of battery-powered devices, such as cell phones, GPS units and computers, with our unique portable power generation units. Other product opportunities include innovative field tent comfort devices, including heating and cooling sleeping comfort products, and efficient heat distribution from small heating stoves.

For medical emergencies anywhere, blankets woven over our thermoelectric modules can drop a victim's core temperature at prescribed speed and to a 0.1°C accuracy to preserve tissue and minimize damage during transport to the hospital. Blankets with our products can also help resuscitate hypothermia victims with carefully managed temperature increases to protect organs from too much blood flow to the skin. Tellurex is exploring off-the-grid furnaces for home, office and field campsites. And we can support the development of special products for heating, cooling, and re-charging or self-powering devices.
